Neuroplasticity: An umbrella term for the brain's ability to change neurosynaptic pathways (this can happen as a result of various reasons including different types of learning and forgetting).

Already familiar with relevant traditional individual coaching or team coaching models, and often also with mastery of other neuroscience-based models (although no previous background in neuroscience is needed!).

May or may not have background in neuroscience (past participants range from having a PhD in neuroscience to having no background in neuroscience at all). You know yourself best!

While the time investment of AAN programs is flexible and very doable (based on the program and format you choose), and while all KCI programs are designed to engage a more intuitive learning style (so there is very little "academic"-like learning) - as advanced programs, you can expect the level of rigor to be fairly high.

KCI offers a variety of training and certification programs.

Completing an Advanced Applied Neuroscience Coach (AANC) certification, involves a hands-on practicum process (to learn more about the full 8-10 month certification process and requirements, click here). However, we highly recommend that you first "test the waters" so to speak, and start with a shorter AAN course.

Why is that?

Imagine the various AAN knowledge, models, and techniques that go into becoming a certified AANC, as puzzle pieces. Certified AANC master a comprehensive coaching process which combines ALL the puzzle pieces. But it is not essential to combine ALL the puzzle pieces to provide added AAN value to your coaching clients! Even if you only chose to adopt 20% of what we'll share with you, your clients will be hugely benefited!

Starting with the shorter courses will offer you the following benefits:

Provide you with ICF CCEU's (if relevant for you).

Deliver tremendous value and give you access to a wide variety of AAN models and techniques (for navigating difficult change in various contexts), but allow you to pick and choose.
