ADVANCED FOUNDATIONS IN APPLIED NEUROSCIENCE

How to UNLERN the brain’s stickiest, most stubborn patterns, held together by "EMOTIONAL SUPERGLUE."

A Breakthrough Program

If you are interested in Advanced Applied Neuroscience (AAN), the best place to start is with the Advanced Foundations in Applied Neuroscience Course.

It is a the most application-oriented, cutting-edge, advanced, comprehensive, training program KCI offers. It will provide you with breakthrough knowledge:

  • Combining Neuroscience with application models and techniques.

  • Understanding brain areas and systems (Hippocampus, Amygdala, BNST, Insula, and Anterior Cingulate Cortex, just to name a few) and on HOW to use this knowledge to support transformation - shared in a clear, applicable, and concise way designed for more intuitive learning styles.

  • Difficult change is complex so this course is intensive and comprehensive (covering an intro to applications of multiple neuroscience-based models).

"A VALUABLE TOOLKIT"

"I've attended numerous courses in the past and I've often found them to be overly theoretical and/or lacking in practical application and challenge. KCI’s advanced foundations in applied neuroscience did not disappoint...Reut was expertly able to take every and any question, and demonstrate how neuroscience can be applied to real-world challenges...I would highly recommend this course!"

What Should I Know?

  • Cutting edge: If you are already very happy with your existing toolkit and not interested in advanced techniques (specifically to support difficult aspects of change and transformation) this program may not be right for you.

  • Coaching First: While KCI offers both individual AND team coaching certifications, from a Neuroscience POV all change starts with individuals in mind. If you do not coach individuals at all as part of your practice, although the principles of individual change obviously transfer to team coaching, you may find this program less relevant.

"WILL CHANGE YOUR WORLD!"

"After almost 17 years practicing as an ICF trained and certified coach and 12 years as a practicing Organizational Development practitioner...I didn't "get it" until I came to Reut at KCI. I thought I understood the neuroscientific principles of change but I was missing a key piece and now that I have access to advanced applied neuroscience, it's a whole different story."

How Can I Sign Up?

KCI offers 3 format options of the Advanced Foundations in Applied Neuroscience course (different formats and price options to match your preference, needs, and availability).

The cohort option is particularly lovely if you enjoy:

  • Learning with the same group of people from start to finish.

  • Exploring where course materials meet the rich experience and knowledge of other highly experienced coaches.

  • AND if you have the time to keep up with the truly intensive pace of the content (technically it only takes 2-3 hours to go through the materials each week, however due to the cutting-edge and comprehensive nature of the content, most participants take a lot of notes - which realistically results in spending around 7 hours of independent study per week).

If you don't expect to have that much availability, but still prefer a group setting (or want to benefit from the ICF CCEU's this program offers), please consider the Self-Paced format.

Finally, if you prefer studying at your own pace, if you don't care for the cohort or group learning environment, and if you have no use for the ICF credit, please consider the Self-Study option instead.

With any questions about which format would work best for your schedule, please don't hesitate to reach out!

Certificate of Completion

To become a certified AANC you need to complete the Advanced Foundations in Applied Neuroscience course AND two additional practicum steps. Although we highly recommend signing up for the Foundations course first, if you'd like to see the horizon, you can find info about the different certification options here.

While the practicum is required for certification, satisfactory completion of the hige-value, comprehensive, extensive, and intensive Foundations program results in a certificate of completion.
