ADVANCED FOUNDATIONS IN APPLIED NEUROSCIENCE:
COHORT
What Is The Cohort Format?

For almost two decades, KCI trained and certified hundreds of coaches and change facilitators who prefer a cohort experience. This is where you get the most dedicated in-depth insight into the genius of advanced neuroscience applications.
There are clear benefits to a continuous discussion with a consistent small cohort that goes through the material together in sync. You'll be learning together, build a wonderful sense of community, and have more rewarding discussions.
However, this option requires a BIG time commitment to keep up with self-study materials, and hence provides less flexibility. Some people prefer the accountability and structure this format provides but it also means staying on top of the materials and attending scheduled live discussion sessions (although it's perfectly ok to miss a session here and there and sessions are recorded).

What Do I Need to Know?
The cohort experience of the Advanced Foundations in Applied Neuroscience program:

-
Is offered only twice per year: Typically starting in March and October on Tuesdays at 10:00am Pacific/ 1:00pm Eastern (open also to our clients in Europe and similar time zones - for clients in NZ, Asia, and similar time zones, please check our Self-Paced option).

-
Sessions are generally held by-weekly: You'll want to complete 12 comprehensive online self-study modules and attend 7 live sessions to discuss the material and explore applications. If this intensive rhythm doesn't fit your other commitments or learning preferences, please check our Self-Paced option.

-
Requires 3-7 hours of self-study per week: While it takes about 2-3 hours to go through each of the 12 online modules without interruption, the content is comprehensive and advanced, and many students like to take a lot of notes (you will be provided with workbooks). As a result, it tends to take 3-7 hours of self-study per week to prepare for live sessions.

-
Highly application-oriented (if your questions require an elaborate exploration of a specific case study, we may invite you to schedule your free 1-on-1 bonus session).

-
Live sessions are 90 minute long, limited to 4-8 participants per cohort, and focused on processing examples and integrating the content together.

-
Recorded and available for your review.

"THE SINGLE MOST IMPACTFUL CAPABILITY I HAVE ADDED TO MY COACHING PRACTICE."

"As an experienced coach with multiple certifications...The approach is distinct from any other, powerful, energizing, and genuinely refreshing...The format is more demanding than typical online courses but produces deeper learning...In a world where many people have repeatedly attempted and failed to create lasting behavioral change, this method offers a credible and science based path forward. It restores hope where repeated attempts have eroded it."

Modules 8-12: Incorporate all the above from modules 1-7:
Illustrating HOW to use the above knowledge in practice, lacing in 10+ Advanced Applied Neuroscience models to form a practical methodology (illustrating one cohesive way all this knowledge can be applied).
